Basically Media

Founded in 1998 by Kuleindiren Selvanandam (Indren). Indren worked for the printing division of the Times Publishing Group (Singapore) for 12 years and was it’s Head of Marketing and International Sales which had offices in New York, London and Sydney. Basically Media is unique in it’s set up. It works with suppliers by interphasing and allowing the suppliers to build direct relationships with the customers.

By connecting the dots this way and allowing suppliers to freely interact with customers it can keep it’s overheads to a minimum and prices sharp in this highly competitive market. Basically Media is not classified as a broker as all communication and invoicing are handled directly with the suppliers it represents. It has now expanded it’s services with the setting up of it’s China office.

Indren spends up to 3 months a year visiting and reinforcing the relationships it has with suppliers in the Far East. Basically Media identified printers for their strengths in the products they manufacture.
