Profile
Hot Foil Stamping (or hot foil blocking) is the process of applying metallic or pigment foil to paper or card, where a heated die is stamped onto the foil. Foil is available in a huge range of colours and textures, not just standard golds and silvers. Not only does it provide a uniquely vibrant image with depth, foiling can be applied to a much larger range of materials in comparison to ink.
If you looking for your product to stand out, foiling is a must have essential. Thermal lamination is available in matt, gloss, soft touch and anti- scuff. Thermal laminate has a glue pre-applied to the OPP film on the side that is laminated to the paper or board, the laminate is heated during the application to activate the glue. Thermal lamination is approved for direct contact food use and is also referred to as Food Safe Lamination. Lamination is widely used in both the commercial and packaging print industries. Spot UV varnish is a coating applied to the printed material to add a clear durable finish that enhances the print, this is applied through an exposed screen then produced by a screen printing process. |
