In 2017, Mission 8848 will take place in an attempt to summit Everest while pushing the boundaries to a remarkable new level. The mission will be to connect with over One Million students, to live-stream broadcast from the highest mountain into 8848 classrooms around the globe.

Through the use of cutting-edge cameras, 3D projections and satellite communication technologies the explorers will take One Million students with them on this journey of modern exploration. Everest is an epic icon of discovery and challenge that immediately captures the imagination and inspires interest. The journey and the ascent will be shared through 360 immersive reality technologies as well as delivering a highly crafted climate change focused education program.
